How to get DIDI app in China if you can not find it in your App Store
If you iPhone App Store belongs to countries out of China, Japan, Australia, New Zeland, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, you may consider following ways to get around China by using the largest ride-hailing app.
Option 1, Get a Chinese Apple ID
- Prepare a new email address that has not been used for Apple ID.
- Open appleid.apple.com, make sure Choose Mainland China in the region section.
- In the phone number area, you can fill either your own country number or China phone number, as long as you can receive SMS code.

Pro: You can switch between Apple ID for download the local apps from settings
Con: Apple is getting very strictly for applying new ID, you may failed on getting a new ID.
Option 2, Use DiDi service in WeChat. & Alipay
WeChat user,
- search DIDIen, tap the top result ,
- follow the account ,
- now you can require car service now
To access this service faster
- You can tap the … on top right corner
- Choose Stick Service Account on Top
- You can find the DIDI is the top option in your WeChat list
Alipay User
- Search didi in the home page
- Tap the top result
- You can tap the top icon add DIDI to your home page
